    This lecture presents the comprehensive history of the healing talismans in the East Asian Buddhism, starting from its Indian origins.

    While keeping both the global and local perspectives, most of the discussions will be dedicated to unpacking its historical development in Korea with a wide range of talismans used in healing and other Buddhist magic.
