MoveCourse syllabus
In this course, we examine Buddhist ritual culture that has been reinterpreted and reproduced in Korean Buddhism.
The purpose of this course is to understand the process of transfer, acceptance, reinterpretation, and expansion of Indian Buddhism, which accepted the customs of the ancient Vedic religion, to Chinese Buddhism, and then to Korean Buddhism.
Through learning about the rituals of each category, Korean Buddhist rituals will be differentiated and East Asian Buddhism will be universal.
